The supplier ID, which can be found in the middle of the plate, is another legal requirement. In order to comply with the standard, the licence plate must indicate who manufactured or supplied it. This requires displaying their DVLA registered name and postal code. For this final result, an image or text can be used. BSAU 145e has optimized the vendor ID to make it easier to read. Now it must be monochrome and at least 3 mm high, but not more than 10 mm. In addition, any font can be used as long as it is legible. Overall, the vendor ID must be within a maximum width of 178 mm.
